I graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2009. I have been in Clinical practice since then. I worked in Vancouver until 2018 before moving to Vancouver Island. I was part of the Team at Solace Wellness Centre from 2018 to May 2022. These amazing group of women have inspired my growth into this new venture and chapter of my life.
In my practice, I concentrate on using Swedish, Myofacsial Release (MFR), Trigger Point therapy (TP), Joint Mobilizations, Ligamentous Stretching, Cranio-Sacral therapy (CST) and some Visceral work as well. I will encourage breath work and visualization with the Patient where and when needed. This is an intuitive process. The body will guide this treatment.
I use lighter to moderate pressure when I work, as I do not do deep pressure work. This style of work is more conducive to relaxing the physical body’s Central Nervous System (CNS) and easing the release of pain in a more gentler and manageable way for the Parasympathetic Nervous System.
